Up for Anything

It's been a weird season out here in Colorado. Definitely the driest December I've seen in my whole life! At first I was super bummed that there wasn't a lot happening on the hill until I discovered that due to lack of snow some of my favorite summer hiking trails were actually still accessible!

Last Sunday I woke up early, busted out my hiking boots and stabilizers. I threw my camera, a few layers and a few bars into my new Osprey Daylite from Zappos.com and hit the trail with one of my best friends. This bag might look small but actually has a compartment for my hydration system and more than enough features to keep you organized and prepared (even for all the layers needed for winter hiking)!

The road to the parking lot was closed so we had to tack on an extra .75 mile to get to the trail but it was MORE than worth the walk. The whole time we were greeted by magnificent views in all directions as the low sun peaked it's way over the surrounding mountains.

Although I am still crossing my fingers for some big storms to role through I am grateful the opportunity to see some of my favorite views blanketed in snow!

Wishing you all a happy holiday season!

Lots of Love,

Arielle
